Great food and prices! Always busy but worth the wait!

I am from Arizona so I would say I know good mexican food...this place is a hidden gem...comes super close to my all time favorite place..Wish they had a bigger place to eat though..

What a very cool place! It's a hole in the wall kinda place that has just amazing food! I really wish we could have gone here many times but we weren't in the area long enough. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend the trip to try this place!5 Stars - Will go out of my way to get back

My favorite Mexican food in the area hands down, friendly, fast and AUTHENTIC.A hidden gem, place can get very crowded quickly lunch time, but you can call and place your order and pick it up.

Absolutely love Ricky’s Taqueria! Their steak tacos are the best!! Love how fresh their corn tortillas are and their house made red and green salsa are sooo good with just the right amount of heat.

Great Menudo on week ends, their salsa is addictive. Staff is very cordial and efficient. Only seats about 25 , but the wait is worth it.

I placed a 150$ plus order today to treat everyone at work to lunch, lady who took the order made me call back to pay for the food because she was too busy.. ok so I called back a few min later and paid. The food was not good tasting any of it, tamales were hard, tacos were disgusting tasting and when I called back because they missed 2 peoples food order she said well I gave you all the food. This was my first time ordering from rickys and NOT a good first impression definitely the LAST! There's plenty of other great quality authentic Mexican restaurants in the area definitely suggest you skip this place!

My first time visiting the restaurant and I was impressed with the customer service. The food is great and you get plenty of it for the price. I recommend Ricky's Taqueria to anyone who loves good food.

Best tacos in the Michiana area.

Tacos were really good. Tamales didn't have enough flavor. Pork was under seasoned. Nice little place though. Will come back to try other entrees to make a solid review. Definitely open to changing my rating. Very reasonable as far as price is concerned.

It's Small but the Flavors are Super Big. If you have never been here put it on your bucket list. It's something you HAVE to do. Hands down the BEST burrito in the STATE. The guacamole the steak tacos. Its ALL GOOD!!!! 6 stars!!!

I've heard many great things about Ricky's but had yet to stop in. When we did, we were warmly greeted, served quickly and treated well. The service was excellent. The food, however, was even better. Very fresh and served hot. We each chose a burrito with different kinds of meat inside. Every one of them were flavorful and fresh.

Probably the best taco place in a 50 mile radius. Friendly and professional staff, and you can’t beat the prices! (Taco Bell, YA DONE)

Small but mighty in flavor. I'm in town from Florida and this is definitely a go to place for some authentic food! I ordered a quesadilla and the ceviche. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.

Went here Monday night to show my sweetie how good their tacos are. He got chicken and I got steak Mexican tacos.And then the next day and half neither of us could function because our bowls were ripping apart from the inside out.Tasty tacos are not worth food poisoning. Apparently cleanliness is a problem at this establishment.But, the tacos were, in fact, super delicious.

The service is quick. The people are friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The parking lot is easily accessible but it's small. I know lots of people who rave about the food but I think it's mediocre.

Other then a little long of a wait I always love rickys and they never disappoint!

I enjoy their steak tacos. A little on the bland side and sometimes too many chewy fatty pieces. Their website does not stay current on pricing. I learned that their pricing is off when I calculated what my order should cost and when I went to pick it up it was almost double the price. Their tacos are good but not worth more than $1.50 max per taco. Nice people though!

We were told about Ricky's from some local people. It is definitely a hidden gem. The Mexican food is very good lots of flavour. Very friendly staff.If you like good Mexican food I would highly recommend. Definitely will return.

Wow! Absolutely delicious and authentic Mexican food. The nachos supremo are out of control yummy! (Plus, one order would feed like four people). Everything we ordered was outstanding -- Mexican and American style tacos, nachos, haurache -- so, this will definitely be a go-to for us going forward. Good work, Ricky's!

Used to be better. The cooks don't seem to be as passionate as the one man who was the cook for forever. These cooks feel like this is just their job so they don't put the effort and passion into the food when they cook and it's reflected in the quality of the dishes that are coming out to guests. My tacos are usually very greasy now, so no flavor in meat and the tortillas don't get grilled long enough so they're soggy and dripping in oil/grease, it's really gross.

Waited over 10 minutes for my takeout, while other people got helped despite me arriving way before them. Been a long time customer and its not usually an issue. Theres tons of places that make tacos and service was one of the reasons i use to go to rickys but all it takes is one bad experience 🤷🏽‍♂️

Cute hole in the wall offering an array of authentic Mexican cuisine at fair prices. Their burritos are stuffed and large with quality ingredients. Their corn in a cup is my all time fave. I used to enjoy their tacos but it seems within the past few years the flavor is lacking in their steak. Could just be me but it is great in their burritos. Would love a larger location for more seating as there are maybe 3-4 2 seating tables and a 4 high top table next to the kitchen entrance smack dab next to the bathroom entrance. You can also sit at a bar and watch them cook your food. And during the warmer months you can dine outside at their picnic tables. I've been dining here for over a dozen years and when ever am on that side of town I always try to swing in.

Delicious food. It would be nice if the building were larger. When outdoors seating isn’t possible, the place gets crowded quickly - heck, it gets crowded quickly even when outdoor seating is possible. Still, totally worth the visit every single time.

Finally stopped in to this Elkhart favorite. I highly recommend Ricky's steak (asada) buritto and quesadilla. I also enjoyed the bean and cheese tamale with verde sauce on the side. The staff is fast and friendly. It pairs well with delicious food. The place is cozy so dine in is limited. Carry out if you don't like a crowd.

Food is amazingly delicious but there kinda slow thru rush times

Great tasting food. The one star is for never being able to call ahead for carry out, giving me the wrong order, not owning up to mistake and making it right. I've emailed couple times and nothing but cricket's. Probably won't go back
